6:30 p.m.Salmon Dinner, Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium (Presented by the Mount Peyton Hotel) The salmon served is Newfoundland farmed product purchased from members of the Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association . NAIA will be providing Newfoundland cultured mussels at the dinner.This year's Patron is Mr. Boyd Cohen. Music by Terry and Mike (Terry Burke & Mike Snelgrove)

Friday, July 17

10 p.m.- 3 a.m Stadium Dance: Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium, Bayou Boys (Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute Band), Papa String
Saturday, July 18

10am United Church Ladies Brunch: Memorial United Church, Church Road. $10.00 each. Children 10 and under free. Fish cakes, Home made beans, baloney, tea coffee, etc.

2009 Salmon Festival Concert: Gates Open at 1pm. Our Lady Peace, Akon, Johnny Reid, Tara Oram, Hey Rosetta, the Navigators, Papa String. Host Donnie Dumphy

Salmon Dinner
The 2009 Exploits Valley Salmon Festival swings into high gear on Thursday, July 16th with the traditional Salmon Dinner and Opening Ceremonies. Festival Chairperson Jim Courtney will preside over the dinner at the Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium, starting at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and main course at 7:00.
Newfie Night
Joe Byrne Stadium is the place to be on Monday, July 20th for Newfie Night. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. for a "Newfie scoff" featuring the best traditional Newfoundland food, the hilarious "Screech-in", and music. The "Newfie scoff" is open to the general public.
Family Day

All these events take place on Centennial Field and are free to the general public. Live music and entertainment

Grand Falls-Windsor Day

1:00 am - 4pm Various events on High Street (TBA)
